This soy sauce brewery was founded in the Horeki Era (1751 - 1764) and still uses unique production methods developed in the late Edo Era (1600 - 1868) to make its distinctive soy sauce. The brewery's umekkosoy sauce is flavoured with subtle hints of locally-grown plums and is not to be missed! The brewery building itself is more than 200 years old and is also worth visiting.
