NISHIKANASA SOBA NO SATO SOBA NOODLE WORKSHOP
This soba workshop was the first place in Japan to produce 'Hitachi Aki Soba' buckwheat flour, known as Japan's highest quality buckwheat. The combination of years of experience alongside the necessary conditions to make great soba - freshly boiled noodles made with freshly milled flour - mean the noodles at Nishikanago are packed with umami flavour.
Visitors can also try making their own noodles (reservations required). A soba-making expert guides you through the process, making it the perfect activity for soba novices and children.
